Our commitment to Web Standards & Semantic Web practices
You may have heard the term 'web standards' before and based on the name alone you would be forgiven for misunderstanding what that actually means. Web Standards are important from both perspectives, both you the client and us as your developer.
TSA Corporation adhere to the guidelines specified by the W3C (world Wide Web Consortium). The W3C is an organisation committed to the ongoing development and support of internet technology standards. W3C produces what are known as "Recommendations". These are specifications, developed by W3C working groups, and then reviewed by Members of the Consortium. A W3C Recommendation indicates that consensus has been reached among the Consortium Members that a specification is appropriate for widespread use.
Adhering to web standards is a disciplinary practice that takes dedication and skill to achieve, which is why unfortunately a lot of web developers do not bother. Here at TSA, we won't be able to sleep unless we know our work is 100% web standards compliant.
