Company Profile
TSA Corporation Pty Ltd (TSA) is a Strategic Technology Partner of choice for a growing number of clients across Australia.
We present a uniquely innovative business model and approach that introduces best practice procedures and methologies that would normally only be expected to be delivered by much larger National or Global ICT Service Providers who are typically forced in delivering a much more restrictive and higher overhead model.
History however proves that most of the larger players lack the ability, flexibility, agility or focus to regularly provide the management and direction to be delivering services with a strategic partnering approach that guarantees a consistent win-win for their clients. Our business model, supported by a team of seasoned ICT professional and management quality checkpoints including regular planning and operational workshops, represents unsurpassed value for money.
TSA Corp's staff are mentored to always strive to not just meet your SLA requirements, but exceed your expectations in an innovative way that helps you achieve your business outcomes. Our team will also work with you to develop a cost containment model that suits your business and when we deliver Selective Outsourcing areas we always strive to contain project costs and deliver within core services budget unlike most of our competitors.
Organisational Capacity and Capability
TSA Corporation introduces a strong organisational capacity and capability that is lead by a proven management team with a depth of ICT and business experiences that span over three decades.
We introduce a management and mentoring approach that exceeds most technical service delivery models. We focus on exceeding client expectations, introducing a team structure which forces a service culture delivered by resources that follow strict escalation procedures ensuring maximum productivity levels.
Our principal mentor and Chief Executive Officer (Greg Davidson) has been in the Information Technology industry since 1976. Greg has held many senior management positions in Tier 1 vendors and has controlled many large outsourcing contracts, including rewriting the business model and controlling the outsourcing panel for WA State Goverment in 1996-98 in a role that gave him a unique insight into the practices and approaches of all the major outsources in Australia. He is also ITIL trained and is a recognised and sought after Strategic Consultant. Other examples of senior mentors is another board member and founding director - Con Polkinghorne, a well known Strategic Consultant and Project Director who prior to starting TSA corporation was the Principal Management Consultant responsible for their ICT Practise in Western Australia and Asia at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Our organisation structure has been carefully developed to ensure we provide our clients a seamless service that is focused on a single point of control that matches our client's business needs. A primary differentiator that our clients recognise is our ability to introduce a level of strategic consulting and business alignment rarely found in our industry that translates to a better prioritised and managed team focused on productivity and cost containment that adds value to our client's business enviroment. When any risk areas in delivery or escalation resolution are identified we quickly develop mitigation plans against any such events.
TSA Corp's management culture ensures a partnering and mentoring approach is always delivered. With that in mind we always leverage industry and partnering alliances in the best interests of our clients in a seamless manner to guarantee the highest level of delivering standards in a cost contained manner. This extends beyond the traditional technical capacities with a focus on management, best practises that can be adapted to our client enviroments and industry trends through alliances and partnerships with industry groups like Gartner Group, ITSMF (ITIL Foundation), ACS and AIIA.
Technical Capability
We have several 5+ year outsourcing contacts with State Govt Agencies and corporate clients who have strong Microsoft and Cisco infrastructure/network enviroments with a variable range of helpdesk calls and Servers/Desktops, remote office locations, databases and applications driven from typical user bases of 200 - 2,000. Specifically Forest Products Commission, Department of Indigenous Affairs, Orbital Engine Corporation, Fluor Australia, St Vincent de Paul Society and Chevron Australia are worth highlighting.
Our team consists of seasoned technical resources who have a range of skills capable of delivering ICT services backed by strong management support and a mentoring approach to ensure productive focused outcomes.
TSA has strong alliances and Certified Partnerships with a number of major hardware (including but not limited to HP Business Partner, Cisco Premier Partner and IBM Business Partner) and software vendors (Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Oracle Network Partner, Citrix, VMware and LANDesk) ensuring our resources are trained in the latest tools and techniques enabling TSA to deliver innovative solutions in a cost effective manner. We strive to stay abreast of trends, benchmarks, open-source toolsets and cost effective commercial products to suit client needs. Our team skills include web services incorporating Graphiuc Design and web development (finalist in last several years for the WA Web Awards), Java, Oracle, .Net, Sharepoint and MOSS, CRM, CMS development as well as strong Open Source and Cold Fusion skill sets to cpmlement extensive infrastructure and network skills backed by a management consulting team that introduces a strong level of strategic consulting and mentoring experience from Tier 1 and big 5 consulting backgrounds.
Our Service Delivery Model is designed around practical levels of best practise based on an adaptation that stretches the world best practise IT Service Management Methodology (ITIL) ensuring we are always judged as delivering a service that extends way beyond the capacity of individual resources. We introduce access to multiple resources in a seamless manner creating the illusion of a larger and more productive team than the actual costed resources.
TSA have consistently delivered high quality services to our clients, in a manner that has exceeded their expectations guaranteeing improved service levels typically utilising fewer resources, Our clients will testify this has been delivered within a cost model that has either matched in-house models or cost less, when fully scoping the traditonal additonal external vendor services, which are no longer needed under our cost containment model. A good example of this was in 2005 when Orbital Engine Corporation after a 3 year outsourcing contact requested the renewal period to be changed to a 7 year period rather than the 3 year period requested.
Our partnering and service approach introduces a culture that is focused on exceeding expectations and whilst we ensure we match Service Legal Agreements as a recognised measurement of achievement, we don't use that SLA as a reason to introduce an additonal project charge. The TSA approach is to take ownership of all technology & communication needs and associated activities within the achievable restraints of the agreed resource model and agreed client boundaries, the principal driver being to contain costs and minimise additonal funding requirements for project costs whenever possible.
